Mobile Messaging Service Tango Hacked by Syrian Electronic Army
The Syrian Electronic Army has breached into the official website of Tango (Tango.me) a popular mobile messaging service based in Mountain View, California.
Hack was announced by the hackers on their official website, according to which the hackers have allegedly downloading 1.5 TB of daily backups including usernames, emails, addresses along with other contact details of site’s users and subscribers.
On their Twitter account, the hackers left several tweets related to hack:
The hackers mentioned on their blog that the company has its servers shutdown after the hack and official site is redirected to company’s official Facebook page.
Just few days ago, the Syrian Electronic Army had breached into the system of TrueCaller which is a global phone directory application for smartphones.
At the time of publishing this article, the site was offline and redirected to company’s Facebook page.
