Al Qaeda-Linked Syria Group Enjoying USAID? You’ve Got to See This to Believe It

If this image is real, then it confirms the worst fears about U.S. aid to Syria falling into the hands of terrorists:
Recent images from the front line of the Syrian war suggest that terrorists are enjoying the small comforts of U.S. equipment and supplies that are meant to aide legitimate rebels, who are part of the Free Syrian Army. This appears to prove all the concerns among U.S. lawmakers and analysts that aid to the Syrian rebels could end up in the hands of Al Qaeda.

Cyber Armageddon: In depth Analysis of What Syrian Electronic Army ‘can’ do if US attacks Syria

This world is a place of turmoil and threats. Every country, organization, persons or military from around the world claim, from time to time, that it or they has/have more power than others. Recently, a new such group has surfaced in print and electronic media. They are the SEA (Syrian Electronic Army). This group has thus far hacked Twitter and the websites of Al Jazeera, New York Times, CNN, Washington Post and several other giants of the media.
  • Syrian Electronic Army:

After the rise of civil war in Syria, the situation became more aggravated when international powers started supporting the Free Syria Army with intel, finance and arms. On one hand people are dying regularly in great numbers; on the other, the SEA has started hacking media and social media like twitter, New York Times, Washington Post, Al-Jazeera etc, striking panic in the media around the globe.

US rebuffs Syrian access to chemical site as “too late to be credible”

The US has little doubt the Syrian government used chemical weapons against civilians and any decision to open the site to UN inspectors comes “too late to be credible,” a senior US official said Sunday, Aug. 25.
The official made clear the Syrian government's agreement to let United Nations inspectors visit the site of an alleged chemical weapons attack was inadequate.

"At this juncture, any belated decision by the regime to grant access to the UN team would be considered too late to be credible, including because the evidence available has been significantly corrupted as a result of the regime's persistent shelling and other intentional actions over the last five days," the official said.

Israeli airstrikes hit Damascus military site, city's airport - reports

Strong blasts hit the outskirts of Syria’s capital early on Sunday, with reports saying that they were results of Israeli airstrikes on a military research center and Damascus Airport. Israel is thought to have carried out a similar attack days ago.
Syrian TV accused Israel of the attack and of being in alignment with rebel forces.
"The new Israeli attack is an attempt to raise the morale of the terrorist groups which have been reeling from strikes by our noble army," the report said.
The notion was backed by Syrian Deputy Foreign Minister Faisal Mekdad, who said the attack proved that there is an alliance between Israel and Islamists trying to topple the Syrian government. In an interview with CNN he said the airstrikes are a "declaration of war" by Israel and that Syria would retaliate in its own time and way.

Israeli warplanes carry out air strike on Syria

Israeli warplanes have attacked a target close to the Syrian-Lebanese border following several days of heightened warnings from government officials over Syria's stockpiles of weapons.
Syrian state television said that military command had confirmed a "scientific research centre" north-west of Damascus was struck at dawn on Wednesday, causing damage. Two people were killed and five wounded in the attack on the site, which was engaged in "raising the level of resistance and self-defence".
