JPMorgan Says It May Leave The Physical Commodities Business After The NYT Takes Aim At It

JPMorgan, a major player in commodities on Wall Street, said in a press release that it "is pursuing strategic alternatives for its physical commodities business, including its remaining holdings of commodities assets and its physical trading operations."
The announcement comes hot on the heels of a New York Times piece detailing a Goldman Sachs aluminum warehousing scheme it asserts has cost consumers $5 billion over the last three years.
Goldman's foray into the warehousing business is a prime example of the ingenuity displayed by investment banks over the past decade since they first became involved in physical commodities in coming up with new ways to generate revenue.

As cyber attacks detonate, banks gird for battle

Banks large and small are girding for an elaborate drill this week that will test how they would fare if hackers unleashed a powerful and coordinated attack against them.
The exercise is being called "Quantum Dawn 2," and if the name sounds like a video game, it's also meant to convey the seriousness of the threat.
Cyberattacks on the banking industry are growing more frequent and sophisticated and the list of assailants is ever-changing: crime bosses who want money, "hacktivists" who want to make political statements, foreign governments that want to spy on U.S. companies. A successful, widespread attack on the industry would shake confidence in the banking system, and the possibility has banks and regulators on edge.

Checking up Izz Ad-Din Al Qassam activities in a short movie

A movie recently is released which shows up Izz Ad-Din Al Qassam cyber fighters activities after releasing the disdainful movie in YouTube and attacks taken place by this group.
Of course, attacks of phase 3 are not mentioned in this movie.

Chase bank, first potential victim of the phase 4 of operation Ababil

The website of Chase Bank got out of reach and blocked after Izz ad-din Al-Qassam announced yesterday for restarting its attacks on American banks to makes disdainful movie completely removed from internet. In addition, different users reports at sitedown.co show that many areas are out service.
Also could not be sure that Izz ad-din Al-Qassam is behind this attack but announcement of the phase 4 of operation Ababil by Izz ad-din Al-Qassam and getting Chase bank out of service just makes this idea more real.
Images of reports in sitedown.co and monitoring of the Chase bank website is in blow:

Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam starts phase 4 of operation Ababil

After weeks of suspension of Izz ad-Din Al-Qassam activities, this group announced reactivation of operation Ababil and attacks on banks in phase 4 in its new proclamation.
While the attacks by this group was thought to be completely stopped, but restarting these attacks will most probably surprise American financial institutions and banks.
The following proclamation text is in blow:

Phase 4, Operation Ababil

Well, misters! The break's over and it's now time to pay off.
After a chance given to banks to rest awhile, now the Cyber Fighters of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam will once again take hold of their destiny.
As we have said earlier, the Operation Ababil is performed because of widespread and organized offends to Islamic spirituals and holy issues, especially the great prophet of Islam(PBUH) and if the offended film is eliminated from the Internet, the related attacks also will be stopped.
while the films exist, no one should expect this operation be fully stopped.
planing the new phase will be a bit different and you'll feel this in the coming days.

"Mrt. Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters"

Based on the formula which is approved for paying, the united states must still pay because of the insult:

More Cities Should Go Bankrupt

Filing for bankruptcy is an incredibly useful corporate turnaround tool. We should make it easier for local governments to do it.

Yesterday, Detroit’s Chapter 9 bankruptcy filing was greeted with sadness by those with personal or emotional attachments to the city. But while you wouldn’t want to call it a cause for celebration, there’s no need for mourning either. The genuinely sad thing about Detroit is not the bankruptcy but the circumstances that induced it—decades of economic and population decline amid deteriorating public services and civic conditions. The bankruptcy itself, however, is not the decline. It’s a sensible step forward that at least gives the same city some chance for the future. And it raises the question of why more local governments with fiscal problems don’t file for bankruptcy.

The Aramco silence after operation #OPSA

Few days ago, Tunisian hackers particularly crack named XhackerTN attacked on targets in Saudi Arabia and collected important information in this way. The Saudi Aramco was the most important target of this operation in which its website got out of reach and removed from internet due to this attack.
Hackers claimed the reason behind this attack was to protest and demonstrate securing Israel oil and fuel by the Aramco, and warned about probability of more such attacks on this company and similar targets in future. The Aramco does not react yet and gives no remark after this attack.
Last year, at the same time, the Aramco was under wide attack and as result 30000 of its computer became under attack and unlocked.

Mobile Messaging Service Tango Hacked by Syrian Electronic Army

The Syrian Electronic Army has breached into the official website of Tango (Tango.me) a popular mobile messaging service based in Mountain View, California.
Hack was announced by the hackers on their official website, according to which the hackers have allegedly downloading 1.5 TB of daily backups including usernames, emails, addresses along with other contact details of site’s users and subscribers.
On their Twitter account, the hackers left several tweets related to hack:

Anonymous hacks, leaks emails and passwords of US Congress

Anonymous hackers have claimed to breached the official website of US congress and its mail server (mail.house.gov and senate.gov), as a result around 1800 email addresses along with their passwords have been leaked online.
Hackers claim that emails and passwords belong to US Congress and their staff which have been compromised to make it clear on congress that Anonymous hackers have been keeping an eye on them over ongoing issues such as NSA, FISA and PRISM.

YES WE SCAN

While the NSA's scandal continues to dominate the news and with the leaker, Edward Snowden now publicly open with the reasons for leaking the documents, there's also humor in some of the reactions. Meme culture has some pretty humorous responses to the news.

FISA court renews NSA surveillance program

The Obama administration has renewed the authority for the National Security Agency to regularly collect the phone records of millions of Americas as allowed under the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act.
The United States government has reportedly asked the FISA court every 90 days since 2006 to renew an order that compels the nation’s telecommunication providers to hand over telephony metadata pertaining to millions of US citizens. The program has been conducted in near total secrecy, however, until NSA leaker Edward Snowden released top-secret documentation to the Guardian newspaper which caused an international backlash upon being published last month.

First Anniversary proclamation of Hilf-ol-Fozoul

Those who a war is imposed on them are given the chance of offering Jihad. Because they are under oppression and of course God is hard mighty on making their victory.
Surah Hajj-verse 39
With regard to all free people particularly Muslims around the world and happy Ramadan.
We hope we move in the way of becoming acquainted and perfect men and we hope hearts of the Muslims and all people in search of liberty come closer together, and roots of oppression will be destroyed in the world.
Now one year is being passed since Hilf-ol-Fozoul got birth and the world looked on many events during this period of time. Israel attack on defenseless people of Gaza, massacre of people in Syria, Pakistan, and Myanmar and etc. insolence toward Prophet of Islam in a disdainful movie, incubus powers efforts to save corrupt regimes or their job to mislead movements made and backed by the people, and casting Saudi-Qatari dollars in order to make their planes on go, was among those events.
As the Hilf-ol-Fozoul announced one year before, it putts effort and tries to support groups which fight against injustice and oppression to load their voice up and make awake minds and hearts hear it, and it tries to help groups fighting against autocratic regimes to gain their independence and try their nation to make their fate themselves.
In this field, we were with the friends who cooperated with Hilf-ol-Fozoul in the field of asking for justice and liberty, and we thank them all. Group Anonymous; group Saudi Anonymous, Cyber Army of Syria, Izz-ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber fighters, those involved in operation OpISRAEL and operation OpUSA, justice enraged sword, digital Intifada, and all walked on justice path. We hope more groups in search of liberty will be attached to this movement to get the world full of equality, peace, friendship, and justice.
We ask almighty God to help us to offer our duty in fight for justice and against oppression in this hard field.
Insha’Allah

اَللّهُمَّ فُکَّ کُلَّ اَسیرٍ

DDoS: Hacktivists Preparing Phase 4?

Experts say distributed-denial-of-service attacks against U.S. banks are not over, despite what's now been a two-month cease-fire by the hacktivist group Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyber Fighters. Security vendors tell me the hacktivist group's botnet is growing. And when these attacks do resume, they won't be easy to fight.
This next wave of DDoS attacks will be different from what we have seen in earlier waves of attacks, dating back to mid-September 2012, researchers believe. As a result, many of the mitigation strategies and defenses banks have in place could prove ineffective.
Luckily, information about new code added to Brobot, al-Qassam's botnet, is being shared behind the scenes among banking institutions. Now, banks and DDoS-mitigation providers are just waiting for what will be the fourth phase of DDoS to strike.

Israeli F-16 warplane crashes into sea

An Israeli F-16 warplane has crashed into the Mediterranean Sea following an engine malfunction, the military says.
“An F-16 combat aircraft crashed earlier today in the sea after the engine malfunctioned,” an Israeli military spokesman said on Sunday.
The US-made F-16, which is Israel’s latest and most advanced warplane, crashed approximately 50 kilometers west of the Gaza Strip during a training flight.

Brazil expresses deep concerns over US spying activities

Brazil has expressed serious concerns over a report which says the United States has been spying on Brazilian companies and individuals for a decade.
Brazil’s O Globo newspaper reported on Sunday that the US National Security Agency (NSA) has collected data on billions of telephone and email conversations in the South American country.
The Globo report said that information released by US surveillance whistleblower Edward Snowden reveals that the number of telephone and email messages logged by the NSA in the 10-year period was near to the 2.3 billion captured in the US.

Snowden: NSA is ‘in bed with the Germans’

US fugitive Edward Snowden has accused Germany and the US of partnering in spy intelligence operations, revealing that cooperation between the countries is closer than German indignation would indicate, Der Spiegel magazine reported.
“They are in bed with the Germans, just like with most other Western states,” the German magazine quotes Snowden as saying, adding that the NSA’s has a Foreign Affairs Directorate which is responsible for cooperation with other countries.
