AFP Photo Twitter account hacked by Syrian Electronic Army

The online hackavists supporting the Syrian President Bashar al-Assad have claimed responsibility for hacking the official Twitter account of French news agency Agence France-Presse, commonly known as AFP.
The account which goes with the handle of @AFPphoto was hacked few hours ago, posting Tweets against the rebels and in support of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.

The izz ad-din al-Qassam took the responsibility of previous day’s attacks

The Izz Ad-din Al-Qassam cyber fighters took the responsibility of previous attacks,  by sharing an announcement and this is the first time they are doing so.

This is the 3rd and last warning for the removal of the sacrilegious movie insulting the prophet of Islam. If the movie remains online, then the Operation Ababil will be started in the next week.
The complete text of this statement has been provided as following:

Operation Ababil, AlQASSAM ULTIMATUM

We, the Cyber Fighters of Izz ad-Din al-Qassam, had previously warned multiple times that, if the insulting movies not be removed from the Internet we will resume the Operation Ababil. But, in spite of all of the warnings this suitable opportunity was not used and the insulting films to the great prophet of Islam(pbuh) weren't removed from YouTube.
This is the last al-qassam's ultimatum to U.S. government, and, we announce that if the insulting films are not removed in the following days the Operation Ababil will be started again next week, March 5, 2013.
On this basis and to warn and to show our seriousness for this, an attack string was carried out against some U.S. banks on Monday February 25, 2013 such as Bank of America, PNC, CapitalOne, Zions bank, 5/3, Unionbank, Comerica, Citizenbank, Peoples, UFCU, Patelco, and others.
It is reminded that, based on the formula which is approved for paying, and there were some invoices during past statements, the united states is still debted considerable amount because of the insult, and not removing the film shows the U.S. acceptance of the responsibility  to pay for it.

Probability of New Attack to U.S. Banks Is Strengthened

The Izz-Al din Al-qassam cyber fighters warned firmly in a short statement if those other editions of the offensive film to Prophet of Islam(PBUH) aren’t removed, the attacks to banks will be restarted.
This is the second warning of this group in the form of a statement that is being published after a few weeks deadline for complete removal of these films.
You can see the whole text of this serious warning as following:

Serious Warning, Operation Ababil

We had warned formerly in the event that the offensive films wouldn’t remove, we will be forced to resume Operation Ababil.
In spite of this warning, those films are still not removed and even though in entry to all those films there is warning message about seditiousness of this film which will be shown to the users. That is an appreciative action but not enough at all.
It’s reminded that according to the formula that has been confirmed, a bill has been issued indicating that the U.S.A. is still deeply in debt because of the offense. Not removing the film from the Internet is an indication that the U.S.A. has accepted the responsibility for paying the compensation.
We now warn you seriously that remove the copies of the film and don’t make much more trouble for yourselves and online users of the banks, there is not much time remaining.

The Qassam Warning for Restarting Cyber Attacks

Nearly 2 weeks after stopping cyber attacks of Qassam group to U.S. Banks due to removing the most viewing copy of offensive “anti-Prophet of Islam” film, last day this group warned in its new statement that if the other copies of this film are not removed from YouTube, they’ll resume their attacks.
Read the complete text of the statement here:

Warning, Operation Ababil

After YouTube positive move in removing the main copy of the insulting film to great prophet of Islam(pbuh), the al-Qassam cyber group decided to temporarily suspend the Operation Ababil and give a time to Google to remove other copies of the film from YouTube as well. Links to some other copies of the film was given as example (see our previous statement for more details).
In spite of the time that was given to YouTube to remove the films nonetheless the copies yet exist.
We, the M.I.D.a Qassam Cyber Fighters warn that other copies of the film should also be removed quickly. Of course a warning message informing about seditiousness of films is shown recently to users on input to the pages which is a considerable act but that is not enough at all.
It is reminded that, based on the formula which is approved for paying, and there were some invoices during past statements based on it, the united states is still debted considerable amount because of the insult, and not removing the film shows the U.S. acceptance of the responsibility  to pay for it.
We warn again that, remove the film copies till there is time and do not harden the situation for yourself and banks' online users.

US Federal Reserve Admits It Was Hacked by Anonymous

According to SOFTPEDIA A Federal Reserve spokesperson told Huffington Post that the attackers exploited a vulnerability in “a website vendor product.” However, he claimed that the issue was fixed shortly after the breach had been discovered.

On Monday, Anonymous hackers leaked the details of 4,000 bank executives, as part of Operation Last Resort (OpLastResort), a campaign initiated against the US justice system after the suicide of Aaron Swartz.

The Federal Reserve says that no critical operations have been affected by the breach. Furthermore, it maintains that the hacktivists’ claims are “overstated.”

Fed representatives told Reuters that passwords were not compromised.

So far, several US government sites have been breached as part of Anonymous’ OpLastResort, including the US Sentencing Commission, the Alabama Criminal Justice Information Center and the Eastern District of Michigan United States Probation Office.

SEA Attacks to Israel's Largest Cell Phone Provider

Less than a week after the Israeli air strike on Syrian military research center, Syrian Electronic Army disrupted Bill Phone Company, the largest cell phone provider.
In a message on its website, Pelephone said the service went down Sunday evening and that it was investigating the malfunction.
It was not clear what caused the disruption, although Israeli media speculated it could be anything from a technical issue to a cyber attack.
Users complained that they were unable to place or receive calls. The company says data services were not affected.
In 2010, another major Israeli cellphone service provider went down for several hours. The cause of that malfunction was never resolved.
